Design with a number attached
UI and UX design for iGaming products
In iGaming the design brief is unusually specific: get more registrations through KYC, get more deposits completed, keep the lobby findable at a thousand games, and do all of it while presenting responsible gaming tools honestly. Argon designs to those numbers, and hands over a system engineers can build without interpretation.
01
Where teams get stuck
- Registration and KYC leak players
- Every additional field, unexplained document request or dead-end error message costs a percentage of the funnel you paid to acquire.
- The cashier is where intent dies
- Method selection, limits, fees, verification requirements and decline handling are usually the least designed and most commercially important screens in the product.
- A thousand games, no way to choose
- Without merchandising logic, search, filters and personalisation, catalogue size becomes a liability and the same forty titles carry all the revenue.
iGaming consideration
Limits, timers, cool-off and self-exclusion have to be findable and honest. Designing them as first-class product improves trust and stands up to a regulatory review.
02
What we do
- Research and benchmarking
- Analytics and funnel review, session recordings, competitor teardowns across the markets you compete in, and player interviews where the question needs a human answer.
- Journey and information architecture
- End-to-end flows for registration, verification, deposit, play, withdrawal and support, including the error and blocked states that usually get designed last.
- Conversion design
- Registration, KYC and cashier flows reworked against measured drop-off, with the instrumentation to prove the change and a test plan rather than an opinion.
- Lobby and merchandising design
- Rails, categories, search, filters, personalised surfaces and game tiles that hold up at scale, designed with the ordering logic and the data behind them in mind.
- Design systems
- Tokens, components, states, responsive rules and documentation in Figma, structured to map directly onto the front-end component library.
- Brand expression
- Visual identity for a new brand, or a refresh that lifts an existing one, extended consistently into product, email, app store assets and campaign surfaces.
- Accessibility and clarity
- Contrast, focus order, target sizes, screen reader behaviour and plain language, which also happens to be what regulators increasingly expect of player-facing copy.
- Handover to engineering
- Specifications engineers do not have to guess at: measurements, tokens, interaction detail, empty and error states, and time in the room during the build.
03
What you receive
- Figma design system with tokens, components and documented states
- Annotated flows and prototypes for every journey in scope, including failure paths
- Conversion analysis with prioritised recommendations and an experiment plan
- Responsive designs for mobile web, desktop and app where relevant
- Accessibility notes and contrast validation against WCAG AA
- Engineering handover pack, plus design support through implementation

How the work runs
01
Understand
Business goals, the funnel as it is today, the constraints your platform imposes, and the regulatory copy requirements per market.
02
Frame
Where the value is. We would rather fix three screens that move revenue than restyle forty that do not.
03
Design
Low fidelity to validate the flow, high fidelity once it holds, reviewed with product, engineering and compliance together.
04
Validate
Prototype testing, internal review with support and compliance, and a plan for measuring the change once it ships.
05
Systemise
Turn the accepted designs into a component system with tokens and rules, so the next twenty screens are cheap.
06
Support the build
Available through implementation, reviewing against the design, resolving the questions static files cannot answer.

Why iGaming differs
- Responsible gaming design is not a footer link
- Limits, timers, cool-off and self-exclusion have to be findable and honest. Designing them as first-class product improves trust and stands up to a regulatory review.
- Bonus terms have to be legible
- Wagering requirements, eligibility and expiry presented clearly reduce complaints, chargebacks and support load. Hidden terms are expensive twice over.
- Geography changes the interface
- Currency, available payment methods, blocked states, verification requirements and permitted marketing copy all vary. The design system has to absorb that without a redesign per market.

Questions
Can you work with our existing brand?
Yes. Most of our design work is product design inside an established identity. We extend what exists rather than replacing it, and flag where the identity genuinely blocks a commercial goal.
Do you only design, or can you build it too?
Both. When we design and build, the handover cost disappears and the design system and the component library are the same artefact. When you have your own front-end team, we design to their stack and stay available during the build.
How do you prove a design worked?
We agree the metric before we start, instrument it, and where volume allows we ship as a test. If the volume does not support a clean test, we say so rather than claiming credit for a trend.
Can you design the back office as well?
Yes, and it is chronically under-invested. Support agents, risk analysts and compliance officers use these screens all day; small improvements there pay back in handling time and fewer errors.

Tell us what you are building, or what you are about to buy.
One working day to a reply, from an engineer rather than an account manager. Under NDA as standard, before anything is shared.
